The Cottage is connected to Colonial Court Inn right next door.  In the beginning, the Fosters, who owned Colonial Court Inn and The Chambers who had the house which is now Chic-a-Si Cottage were friends.  After Martha Foster passed away, Chet married the Chamber's daughter.  The connection continues with the Labadie's being good friends with the owners of Chic-a-Si, the Flowers.

The name Chic-a-Si is from an Indian Chief who came to the healing waters of Indian Rocks Beach and was healed!  Today we still are in the business of healing people's souls through sun, sand, surf and good times!
